Is there an update path from SAFe 4.0 to 4.5?

Because SAFe 4.5 is a dot-release of version 4 of SAFe, there is no update path from SAFe 4.0 to 4.5.

SAFe 4 certifications remain valid, as they are not tied to point releases of the Framework (e.g., SAFe 4.0 or 4.5).

For SPCs and SPCTs that wish to update their knowledge of SAFe 4.5, the What’s New in SAFe 4.5 learning plan is available.

The SAFe 4.5 Introduction white paper is publicly available to anyone that wishes to get up-to-date on the Framework.
