Join us for Scrum Master Connect, a bi-monthly virtual event designed for Scrum Masters to network, share insights, and learn from each other in an interactive and engaging format.

🔹 What to Expect?

• Lightning Talk Presentation – Each session kicks off with a 5–10 minute lightning talk from a Scrum Master or industry expert sharing their expertise on a topic that’s relevant and valuable to the Scrum Master community.
  • This month, join Senior Scrum Master, Emma Ropski, for her talk titled “You and Leadership Don’t See Eye to Eye? Here Are Some Options.” In this session, she’ll explore that as change agents, we face resistance. Often it is warranted: we didn’t listen fully, our solution is overly complex, or we aren’t getting to the root cause. However, sometimes this resistance is deeper and indicates an inherent misalignment of values. In this talk, she’ll present five responses to discovering a value misalignment with your leadership team when you have little authority: Comply, Brainwash, Tiptoe, Translate, and Leave. We’ll take a deeper dive into the Translate approach, exploring how to frame your message in a way that builds understanding and momentum.
• Breakout Discussions – After the talk, join smaller breakout rooms to dive deeper into the topic or explore other pressing challenges and ideas with fellow Scrum Masters.
• Ongoing Connections – Exchange contact details, grow your network, and keep the conversation going in our online forums long after the event ends.
